The mission of our church is two-fold. The
primary function of the church is evangelization, the winning of
the lost to Christ. It is every Christian's duty to share the
wonderful, life changing Gospel he or she has experienced. The
church is to have a local and world outreach to this end. The
second mission of our church is the edifying of the saints. The
church is to function as a training ground for Christians. It is
to train, build up, strengthen, and encourage the spiritual
growth of it membership. These two functions, evangelization and
edification, go hand in hand and are equally needed for the
balanced, successful growth of a local church |
